The Donegal League wish to announce the sad passing of Bernard (Benny) Daly.
Benny Daly served on the Disciplinary Committee of the Donegal League for 23 years, previous to this he was a well respected member of the Referee's Society.
Benny served as Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee on at least three occasions, and will always be remembered as being a very astute and diligent Chairman. He will be sadly missed by all who have come to know him, and the League will be the poorer for his passing.
We will all remember his wife Susan and his brothers and sisters and extended family and large circle of friends and relations at this sad time.
Denis Martin served as assistant treasurer of the Donegal Junior League for 15 years, he will be most fondly remembered for his role in Youth Football since the early 80's, from which he retired in 2001, he will also be remembered for his contribution to the League Headquarters in Ballyare.
